First night in my very own big girl bed!

Today we attempted to convert Danika's crib into a day bed, only to split some of the wood on the crib! Shit happens, life goes on! We had a big girl bed, donated by my youngest sister, so Danika is now in her very own big girl bed no! GO DANIKA!

The long road

Danika and I went for a walk to the playground just after Aislyn got on the bus for school. It was nice to have a good enough day for that. Once Aislyn gets home, we'll have to do that again!

Not a good morning!

This morning, Danika decided to be a 2 year old and had a tantrum about getting dressed! because danika was crying, screaming and so on, Aislyn started to cry too! I don't think today'll be fun! :(

Mead and Wine

Janice and I are going to bottle Danika's Mead on the morrow, then start on a batch of wine for Janice's folks and possibly a batch of beer for myself. We made 12 lters of Mead for Aislyn when she was born, to be opened/cracked on her "19th" birthday, and we did the same with Danika. It's been sitting, ageing for almost 2 years, now it's time to bottle it. By the time the girls are old enough to drink it, I hope it tastes as awessome as I think it will! (and I hope they will share ;) )

Toboggining fun

Once Aislyn gets home from kindergarten, has a snack, et cetera, we'll be going toboggining! Can't wait! (She gets home from the buss @ ~ 16:11).
