First night in my very own big girl bed!

Today we attempted to convert Danika's crib into a day bed, only to split some of the wood on the crib! Shit happens, life goes on! We had a big girl bed, donated by my youngest sister, so Danika is now in her very own big girl bed no! GO DANIKA!

The Day's Adventures

Today we had a hell of a lot of snow! Let's see now, Janice woke up and couldn't get back to sleep so she went to the living room to see if a movie will lull her to sleep (as she does when she can't sleep). The outside door was locked but open. (No, no break in) the door wouldn't catch shut. She propped a chair in front to keep it closed for the rest of the night. Come the morning, there was snow (in spots) over a meter of snow! Janice and I shoveled the walk and driveway and headed to Home Depot for a new door and a new spark plug for the snow blower. As it turned out, all we needed was a new brass plate for the door jam. $2000 or $2.00? What is $2.00 Alex? lol. :) We are expecting another 1/2 meter of snow over night. Thank the Gods for our snow blower eh?
