A Stranger Nevermore!

A Stranger
Nevermore!

A stranger you were once,
Just an email from a friend.
We  agreed to meet one day,
A place around the bend.

I saw you out the window.
And gazed upon your face.
You were normal, you were cute,
No ribbons, bows or lace.

I knew at once,
For you came in,
You were meant for me.
Locked uptight, was my heart,
But knew you were it's key.

Those fateful hours, morning spent,
Foretold the day we wed.
The stars beyond the bright blue sky,
Soon after blessed our bed.

A daughter so well dreamt upon,
A vision inspiration,
A daughter’s name
In Irish means
Our first-born’s name is
Aislyn!

Three years in the future then,
With rising Morning Star,
A second daughter,
With Irish name,
Here comes Dancing Danika!

Which brings us to our present now,
A gateway to our future.

Hand in hand, through the door,
Are strangers Nevermore!
