Not a girl!

I was reading to Danika some bedtime books. The last one I read was "Thumper finds a friend". Before commencing to read, I asked Danika: "can I be your friend?" And she replied with a mischievous grin and a giggle: "no". I then asked why and she said, with the same grin and giggle: "cause you're not a girl!" I asked if mommy's your friend. She replied: "yeah, she's a girl silly!"
